 New Conflict Defender Offices Added
Joyce Bussey (left) and Muriel Montia (right) with Mike Mears
Joyce Bussey and Muriel Montia lead the newly created Greenville Conflict Public Defender Office and the Griffin Conflict Public Defender Office respectively. The offices were opened for business July 1, 2006 and serve Coweta, Griffin and Flint circuits. Muriel will be handling cases in Henry, Fayette and Spalding Counties while Joyce will handle Coweta, Troup, Meriwether and Upson Counties. Both Conflict Public Defenders bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience with the criminal justice system.
